     dunno i doubt that any off these two is full blown death
     thougth waths her name (the not monster one) migth have a near death expirience or other means of spirital demage as i suspect nosilla is the monster part everyone else seems merged with so dunno something split nosilla from waths her name

       My theory was that the clinical trial alluded to on the chapter 2 cover somehow preserved a ‘snapshot’ of the people the subjects were at that time. Normally, the person we used to be 10 years ago vanishes as we are reshaped by new life experiences, so Nosilla IS Allison’s ghost. Just not PRESENT-day Allison’s ghost. Admittedly, I can’t account for why she’d see everyone as a monster, or why Derek is only recently splitting in two.
