I love this comic, and each time there’s a double update I’m like “Yaaay!”.
She’s a ghost! But wait, she’s turned up at the same time as Patrick in the past! Double ghosts!
It’s interesting that Nosilla is reticent about this detail. She’s not trying to be unhelpful. It’s just that she can’t make sense of it so it doesn’t feel like a fact she should have stated earlier (which it is, if she consciously knew it).
Nosilla is surrounded by humans, who are able to (mostly) make sense of their lives with a human framework. Almost none of that framework is useful to Nosilla, but it’s all she has access to. Her life may very well make sense within some totally different framework. Maybe she was created with a purpose in mind, but never contacted because things got messy.
hi i just discovered this comic and read through the whole thing last night! so pumped to keep following it and just wanted to drop a note to say that your style is so beautiful and the story is so well thought out!
I feel like we should’ve seen this coming…and yet it’s not all of the picture at all…
Part of me feels like Nosilla is somehow Patrick’s ghost / monster half but… nah I still can’t make a good guess. This comic has kept me guessing for 5 years lol
