Allison: “I know dats right”
her problems are not something a normie would understand!!!! ヽ( `д´*)ノ
I think Allison’s taller than the professor, and they’re probably sitting about the same level, so I love how all the early panels on this page show the professor (I forgot their name) subtly looming over/looking down at her
Yup, that’s right–Allison is in fact MUCH taller than Dr. Mahendru.
Wait how tall IS Allison supposed to be?
She’s 6’ on the dot!
You know, I would have guessed! Also I love that about her.
That’s one of the details that charms the heck out of me about this comic. I can’t think of any other illustrated story featuring a female protagonist with honest tall-girl physical proportions.
I’m sure Allison could use therapy, but it would not solve her current problems
What’s funny is that the right therapist could actually help her learn to cope with her “”hallucinations”” more easily, process her trauma, and get along better with Nosilla. Hey Allison maybe go to therapy???
The mentally ill sufffer the stigma of being perceived as dangerous as it is, and you expect her to open up about an angry thoughtform who can affect the material world???
“Stop being homeless, just buy a house???”
That’s pretty much the tier of what you are suggesting
I apologize for the outburst, I should probably be focusing more of my distrust on Dr. Mahendru
People with mentally illness suffer the stigma of being perceived as dangerous as it is, and you expect her to open up about an angry thoughtform who can affect the material world???
dang it i failed to notice that it DID get posted, thought this was a repeat of my attempt to post “hhhh bnuuy” on that other update
tyop in panel 5, prof’s dialogue: “school couunselor”
which I amused myself by saying that no, that’s actually just how the professor said it.
also Alison’s face journey in this but also every other page is magnifique. So many psychiatrist office flashbacks
Ooo, good catch! Fixing that one ASAP.
This is random but I went and looked back at chapter 1 just for lolz and your skill in drawing flannel patterns on shirts has improved tenfold. keep up the good work
This is a great and specific compliment, thank you (Importantly I wanted to convey it’s the same flannel Allison is wearing between chapters, I just got better at drawing it.)
